General information

What to expect: Spacious enough to offer couples ample room for rest and relaxation and families opportunities for active vacations, the resort centers around its 7-acre open-air beachfront waterscape section. The section features tropical gardens, palm trees, and expansive sundecks and includes swimming pools, a swim-up bar, pool and Ping-Pong tables, a basketball hoop, and a children's clubhouse and outdoor playground.

Property amenities

On Friday evenings, the resort offers a complimentary Bahamian music and dance show. The resort's children's club, Camp Junkanoo, provides complimentary supervised half- and full-day activity sessions for children age 4-12. The clubhouse includes video games. Evening sessions featuring movies and karaoke are also available.

Policies

Listed room rates apply to a maximum number of guests for each room category. A charge is levied for each extra European plan guest age 18 and older, with no extra-guest charges for guests age 17 and younger. For All-Inclusive Plan guests, there is no extra charge for children age 3 and under.

Islands - Brightly colored walls with matching barrels supporting bar. International selections include sushi, tempura, conch fritters, fajitas, steak, fish, and ribs. Dinner only. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants and collared shirts for men.

Bimini Market Grill - Breakfast and lunch buffets. Sunday brunch buffet. International dinner buffet up to four nights weekly. Bahamian decor. Air-conditioned dining room and open-air veranda seating. Dinner dress code: long pants or dress shorts and collared shirts for men.

Dolphin Beach Grille - Casual pink-and-white open-air pavilion serving grilled sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, tropical drinks. Lunch only.

Goombay Lounge - Expansive bar/lounge with plush booths and upholstered rattan chairs. DJ or live music nightly. Newlywed Game and karaoke on Wednesday night.

Rendezvous Lounge - Spacious lower lobby with upholstered seating, pianist nightly.

Recreation

The Radisson Resort owns the public Cable Beach Golf Club 0.5 mile away. Resort guests pay reduced rates for play on the championship layout and enjoy complimentary shuttle service to the course. The resort includes a sports center across the street from the hotel that provides complimentary play on three squash courts, three racquetball courts, and four tennis courts. The sports center also contains a complimentary fitness center equipped with cardio machines, weight-training machines, and free weights. Complimentary for guests' use off the beach are snorkeling gear, Aquabikes, kayaks, and Hobie Cat and Sunfish sailboats.

Rooms

The resort offers 700 air-conditioned guestrooms in two nine-story pink wings off a marble-floor lobby. Each room includes a ground-floor patio or upper-floor balcony furnished with two chairs and a cocktail table. Decor features slate-colored textured wallpaper, carpeting, light-colored furniture, island-scene prints, and bright floral bedspreads. Televisions offer U.S. cable channels. Rooms are reserved under one of the following plans:
